Handcrafted one of a kind mini accessory bags

I made these mini accessory bags with a see through clear vinyl front from my own fabric designs. Will hold money, change, credit cards, candy, tissues, earrings, safety pins, sewing items or whatever else you can think to put in them. They are approximately 6"x 4 1/2". Great little item to put in your pocketbook. I will be putting them on my etsy shop soon.

Fun time at the Craft Show. Sold my baby bibs and greeting cards. Lots of nice comments from people "So cute, just adorable." My cousin Peggie sold her dog scarves. People loved the Patriot design scarves.

Splash of Flowers

The hardest part of creating these fabric designs was coming up with a name for the collection. Writing makes my head spin. Trying to find words are nearly impossible some days.

My bib material finally arrived and here is one design of the bibs sewn. I decided to use terry cloth for the back of the bids to make it soft and absorbent for all the drooling and spills that will soak through.

Oh baby, how adorable

What do you think of my unique big baby head bib I designed. This is a little boy bib but I will have pink girl bibs as well. Needs some tweaks here and there but all in all I think the bib came out really cute. 

I also created other baby bib material designs and sent them off to Spoonflower.com to be printed; should arrive in a couple of weeks. Once I sew them up, I will post pictures of the bibs and they'll be available for sale on my website donnacapozzi.com.

I sent this UFO design to the printer, not sure how it's going to print but it was fun to design. This fabric would look really cute as scrubs, pajamas or loungewear.

Sew close!

My color swatches arrived. Need to darken up a few colors, make some of the patterns a bit smaller but all in all, I like how they printed.
Next step, order yards of material and start sewing.

Hope I don't sew a few fingers to the material.

Let the bibs begin!

I sent my baby head artwork along with 20 new fabric designs to the printer. Once the color swatches arrive and I like how they printed, I will order a yard of each fabric.

A Happy Jellyfish

Nice to turn on my email this morning and read an email starting off with "You are receiving this notification because someone has purchased a print that uses one of your designs available on Spoonflower."
A person with fun taste bought a yard of my Jellyfish in Bubbles design.

My fabric swatches came out fantastic! I received them yesterday from spoonflower.com.

The polka dots were printed on cotton silk and would make a beautiful scarf. 

The carriage and green background flowers are printed on Linen Cotton Canvas and

the white background flowers are printed on Kona® Cotton.

Hi Donna C. here.....thought I would try sewing some baby bibs with my fabrics and characters that I designed. I quickly mocked up a few ideas before I start to sew. What do you think? The ladybug and baby carriage are cute but predictable. I'm partial to the big baby head; cracked me up.

I do love when a design goes beyond the edge.

Maybe I could start a line of  Big Baby Head Bibs.

No, that doesn't sound right does it.

I'm having fun creating and I hope you are too! If not, why not!

My 60's flower fabric doesn't look so foolish after all when mocked up on an Umbrella, Tote and Wristlet. Although I do feel the urge to hum the Brady Brunch theme.

Woven labels have arrived

I think Donna Capozzi Design woven labels came out cute. Can't wait to sew them into the make-up bags I'm making with my fabric designs.
